At a glance I am filled with a buzz of excitement and anticipation looking at this reading.
The intention with which I lay down the cards was to tap into the essence of universal consciousness. I asked to be a conduit of information and insight for all souls awakening and to provide inspiration in the creation of the pathway forward through 2012.
I am not going to specifically interpret each of the cards as it would take way too long. Instead I will give a general overview of the story that the cards are telling.
The beginning point was with the card at the very bottom. It is the Communication card. What an amazing place to start.
The emphasis here is on self-expression but predominantly the use of communication in order to develop and strengthen the way we human beings are with each other. We must transcend the difficulty of relationship in order to embrace higher purpose and to be free to fulfil it. We are learning to get clear with ourselves and to then communicate that to others to avoid the trap of emotions being overwhelmed by miscommunication. Being a key it indicates the successful accomplishment of this task!
The movement up into the round reflects the freedom to be found in the heart when the way we express ourselves in the world is a true reflection of ourselves rather than a construct designed to emulate what we want others to think of us.
The liberation card is there as a symbol to remind us that through the acceptance of self comes ultimate freedom and the acceptance of others. The focus is on the heart and the throat. Expressing the truth that lies in the heart in order to be set free.
As this upward movement through the reading splits into the round the story continues to unveil the pull to mastery, to becoming that which is our ultimate purpose. It makes sense that on the opposite side sits the depression card. The challenge for us all it would seem is to stay focused on the opportunity for evolution and healing and growth as opposed to getting lost in the suffering, loss, grief and depression.
We must empower ourselves in choice and focus! We can go through our changes with consciousness and thus minimize our suffering, knowing that everything will pass and that it is here to teach us something. Always adopting the attitude: What is there to learn in the discomfort of what we are experiencing?
Through the round the cards speak of healing, truth, evolution and expansion. All concepts associated with the journey to discovering our magnificence and being it in the world. The challenge is to stay committed to this path and to accept that in this process there is always the challenge of letting go of the limitations around seeing this in ourselves and others. There is fear that arises around letting go of situations that do not reflect the essence of consciousness that we are. There is also the matter of cleansing away the construct of the former self and it is up to us as to how painfully or easily we choose to do this.
The vision card reminds us to see the bigger picture. Pull up out of the over concern of details and to rise above circumstance into clear insight.
At the top of the round sits the cleansing card that speaks directly of letting go of baggage. Yes it speaks of tears and emotional release, but this doesn’t have to be seen as a bad thing. Ultimately what it symbolises is the release of attachment to the emotional pain we carry. Just think of the impact of this on a universal scale...Remember this is a universal reading. Image if we all were able to release our pain and to come into our true selves. How would the world look?
It would seem that this is really what this year is going to be about. There is lots of letting go of the old in order to herald in the new. It is soooooo very important to maintain consciousness around why? Why are we changing so much, why is the world changing so much, why are we being challenged so intensely? Where do you as a human being stand in the evolution that is taking place?
The card at the very top indicates that the answer to that question is honour. We are learning to honour and respect ourselves, each other and this magnificent planet we live with. Our consciousness is expanding to see the interconnectedness of all things and how we as individuals fit into the great web of life! This is the shift that we as a collective must make now in order to usher in a new way for humanity. Each individual taking this journey ultimately contributes to the whole and if enough of us do this we will without doubt affect the course that humanity will now take.
The honour card is a silver card and the silver cards are all about fulfilling the life purpose. In this shift we can free ourselves from being driven by patterns and conditioning that is not inherently who we are into alignment with the life we were meant to live. The life that reflects the true contribution we are here to make.
When I asked how to maintain balance in the midst of such rapid growth I lay down the two cards in the centre as the answer. They are the Earth Angel and Joy. That made me smile! So we just need to remember that we are indeed earth angels here to fulfil a “mission” and that we are supported on this journey. We are also encouraged to find joy in our hearts knowing that in this place we get to experience the essence of being an angel here on this glorious earth!
Dream up big you beautiful Angel, embrace your magnificence and have a fantastic 2012!!!!!
