After studying and obtaining a qualification, I began my adult creative journey in the Interior Design Industry. Quickly discovering that this was not the place for me, I adapted my skills to the theatre.

For many years I designed sets, costumes and worked hands on in the creation of productions. I even dabbled in film and television for a time and while that was fun, it was not ultimately my pathway.

Finally, I settled into a wonderfully creative job as a top end market city florist. It was a great job, I loved the extravagance and the beauty of it all. From my perspective it was hard work but I loved working with the flowers; so vibrant, so beautiful, so healing. I was content with the work but my personal life was in complete disarray and the struggle with this permeated my whole experience.

Then came the call from the wild. My deeper self began to murmur and then groan in the desperate need to be recognized and heard. Finally, dissatisfied and unable to ignore this any longer, I let go. I quit my job and began a quest through alternative culture, indigenous culture, the healing arts, personal development, therapeutic practice and spirituality.

I travelled, I danced, I danced with fire and sang. I did hair wraps and made jewellery for a living. I painted and engaged in all manner of experiences that encouraged a connection with higher consciousness (with varying levels of success). I explored and experimented with many things. I created exhibitions that combined music, dance and performance with art.

Somewhere in all this came the inspiration to create a deck of cards.

It has been twelve years of creating, working with and developing the cards. Alongside this, I have studied business, workplace training, counselling and art therapy. I have also worked in the community researching and developing an art for wellbeing programme, facilitated creative workshops and done many, many readings. All of this has been to discover how best to make the cards available for you to experience.

You see the results on this site. What an amazing journey it has been!

My life has settled somewhat now but I still hold true to the call of the wild and take every opportunity I can to be with my creativity, my connection with higher consciousness and nature.

My intention is to find a place of peace within myself and in the world around me. I choose to see if there is a higher dimension beyond being bound in emotional pain, greed, suffering, fear and hatred. I seek to make connection with my true potential.

My work is a reflection of this intention; always focused on working in assisting others to free themselves of these illusions. I aim to offer my skills and life experience in service to humanity and in acknowledgement that we are all in this together.
